Letter to the Editor

To the Editor,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of The Sad Café would like to thank the voters of the towns of Kingston, Hampstead Newton, Danville and Sandown for their support of our recent warrant articles for funding from their towns. Through that support The Sad Cafe will receive town funding from Hampstead, Newton and Kingston this year. Additionally we would like to thank the towns of Plaistow, Atkinson and Danville for their ongoing support through town budgets. This support will enable The Sad Café to continue to provide the quality after school and evening programming for thousands of area youth, including our work with the Sanborn/Timberlane Safe and Drug Free Community Coalition, and our programs for parents and families. We will strive to do our best to meet the needs of the youth and families of the communities we serve, and invite feedback and participation in this process from all interested parties. Information about booster club, coalition and board meetings can be found on our website www.thesadcafe.com. As always these meetings are open to the public and new members are welcome.

Thank you,
Andrea Bonner
Executive Director, The Sad Café
