How will your child spend their summer?

Plaistow- How will your child spend their summer? How about playing in a band at The Sad Café? Mastering karate moves? Building a stage set? The Sad Café is offering several exciting 8 week summer camps this year beginning the week of June 27th. New on the marquee is an exciting theater program with Dollee Mallare, highly trained in all aspects of theater, including movement, magic, circus performance and mime. This intensive theater program will run Mondays and Wednesday 2-5 for 8 weeks for a total cost of $195. Participants will create their own modern day fairy tale from scripting to performance. Other programs run 2-5 PM one afternoon a week for each program in our air-conditioned family friendly theater venue. Prices range a reasonable $14 for music programs and $20 per karate program session (that’s for two 45 minute lessons each session) and are suitable for ages 11 to 17, all skill levels. And in response to popular demand The Sad Café will host an open door Friday Chill for youth, 2-5 PM, $5 a visit. Schedules of Friday Chill activities will be available on our web site or at the Sad Café. Plan for movies, karoke and just fun hangout with friends time!
